Nagel Cross Country Practices- Girls and Boys- Begin on Monday, August 4th. Monday-Friday, 3:30-5:00. There is no “Try Out” for this sport, however, all competitions are a 2 mile distance through woods and fields and athletes should be prepared for this challenge. Expectations are that athletes run on their own over the summer to help prepare for the season. There are no formal practices until August 4. Practices are Monday- Friday, 3:30-5:00 until mid- October. Meet days vary- some are week nights, others are Saturday. More detailed information will be sent from the respective head coach by late June.
Athletes must be registered in Final Forms to receive email communication from coaches. Physicals must also be on file with the Athletic Office before the season starts.
Thank you! Go Nighthawks!!

Nagel Volleyball Information
This year, we will host 2 Open Gyms - on Tuesday, July 29th and Thursday, July 31st at Nagel in the main gym. Please enter through the Activity Lobby entrance. 7th grade is from 4:30-6PM and 8th grade is 6:30-8PM. Check-in begins 15 minutes before the session. Please wear gym shoes, spandex shorts (if you have them) knee pads, and bring a water bottle. The open gyms are optional and their purpose is to review skills and give you a feel for what tryouts will be like.
Tryouts will be held on August 1, 4th and 5th. After tryouts on the 4th, you will be given a letter either inviting you back to tryout on August 5th (if you are still being considered for a team) or thanking you for trying out. 7th grade is from 4:30-6PM and 8th grade is 6:30-8PM. Check-in begins 15 minutes prior to the session start time. Please wear gym shoes, spandex shorts (if you have them) knee pads and bring a water bottle. Bring your hustle and positive attitude! Tryouts are mandatory.
In order to participate in tryouts, you must be registered in Final Forms AND have a physical completed and turned in before the start of tryouts. This is a state rule.
Due to the growing popularity of volleyball, Nagel volleyball has become very competitive. This year, judging from the number of registrations, it looks to be the case. We are fortunate to have 3 teams per grade - Blue (made up of girls designated to attend Anderson for high school based on your home address), Silver (made up of girls designated to attend Turpin), and White (a combined group of the next best players from both sides).
To help us get to know you better, please take a moment to complete the Athlete Information Form before coming to tryouts. (link below in google sheets) IF you plan on playing another sport during this volleyball season, we need to know that in advance. You need know that volleyball at Nagel is a very big commitment, with practice or matches basically every day - Monday through Friday from August 6th through early October.
