Nagel Athletics Updates:
Ignition Speed Training: May 7 - 31
Nagel Middle School is proud to partner with Ignition APG to provide our athletes an elite level speed training program. As the Official Sports Performance Provider to Turpin High School and Anderson High School, Ignition will prepare you for the next level of competition.
This intensive 4-week training program will occur on Tuesday and Thursday from May 7th - May 31st from 3:30-4:30PM at Nagel Middle School Main Gym. Sessions are priced at $20/week and can either be paid in full for the entire training block or on a week by week basis. To reserve your spot please contact Ignition APG at firstname.lastname@example.org. Spots are limited!

Nagel Loses to Goshen
On Tuesday, the NightHawks made great contact and scored nine runs including a double from Sam Gantenberg, an RBI single from Emily Reckers, an RBI groundout from Emily Dutschke, and a two RBI single from Vivian Johns. Unfortunately, it was a tough evening for the defense as Goshen topped the NightHawks.
Hawk Fall To West Clermont 14-4
On Monday, Nagel took on the West Clermont 8th grade softball team. Through 4.5 innings the NightHawks hung tough down only 6-4. Those first four innings included some great defense including the rare occurrence of three unassisted force outs at second by our shortstop Kendyl Moss. Ultimately, the experienced hitters from West Clermont proved too much and Nagel fell 14-4.
Hawks Fall 21-16
In a 37 run slug fest yesterday afternoon at Nagel softball field, the Nighthawks scored 16 runs on 14 hits with multiple hits coming from Jacquelyn Ramsey, Sam Gantenberg, and Kendyl Moss. Eleven different players got in on the scoring last night.
Hawks Fall to Mason
An early rough defensive effort left the Nighthawks in a big hole, but showing their resilience they managed to win the last 3 innings 2-0 even though they ultimately fell 14-2.
Hawks Lose Tough Game to McNick
The Nighthawks hung tough for the first two innings of Tuesday night’s game against the cross town rival McNick Junior Rockets. The evening saw a number of nice defensive plays at the plate from Sam Gantenberg and Taryn Edwards contributed 9 put outs at first.
Sometimes You Just Have To Relax and Have Fun
At the Nagel softball field on Thursday night, the Nighthawks dropped a tough one to a very talented West Clermont team 7-3. The Nighthawks played their best defense of the year led by a 4 strike out, 4 walk complete game from pitcher Vivian Johns.
Girls Track Shines at Loveland
Great night for the Girls Track team last night at the Loveland Invitational Tournament. They brought home the 2nd Place trophy from a field of 10 schools. Highlights feature several 2nd place medals including Bailey Jodrey in the High Jump, Grace Miller in the Pole Vault, Kate Hooper in the Long Jump. First Place honors go to Emma Stenger in both the 1,600 and 800 meter runs. Many other team members contributed points throughout the evening.
Nagel Girls Win WC Invitational
Congratulations to the Girls Track team- 26 runners, jumpers, and throwers represented Nagel and brought home the 1st place trophy from over 15 schools at the West Clermont Invitational meet last night.
Nagel Boys Win WC Invitational
Nagel Track Just Keeps On Winning!
The Boys and Girls Track team started strong and just kept going in winning the DeHart Hubbard Invitational at Walnut Hills. There were 19 schools competing at the event.
Nagel Girls Place 3rd
. The girls track team has a lot to be proud of coming home from the first ever Battle of the Beast invitational meet. They finished third out of 14 schools representing the ECC and GMC conferences.
